Optimize images for the web
A three-step workflow to ship faster pages without sacrificing visual quality.
1. Resize to the display size
Avoid serving 4000px-wide photos into a 800px slot. Resize to the maximum size shown on your site (or 2× for retina). PixBench keeps aspect ratio locked so layouts stay consistent.
2. Pick the right format
Use WebP or AVIF for photos when compatibility allows. Keep PNG for logos and graphics with transparency. Convert formats in-browser before upload to your CMS or storefront.
3. Compress before publish
Run lossless PNG optimization or high-quality JPG/WebP compression. Compare before/after to confirm quality, then download a ZIP of all assets. No server upload means you can batch client work safely.
